With the majority of sporting events been affected by the global pandemic caused by Covid-19 due to many not being able to happen due to social distancing rules. However, with the virus starting to ease now and some sports opening up again, we start to look ahead at some of the biggest sporting events that the end of 2020 has to offer whether they’ll be fans or not.
During the period of no sport because of the lockdown, many sports punters had to find alternative methods to try and gain a profit from the comfort of their own homes away from their usual in-play betting. Online casinos have benefitted from this and a good example is the best casinos, due to the quality of casino they are offering, being a 24/7 service and not dependant on live events to be able to gamble and they are now offering unbeaten welcome bonuses for all new punters that are looking to sign up.
The return of the Premier League is one of the main sports in which sports fans have missed during the global pandemic, and with that kicking off on September 12th, football fans have never been happier. At some points it looked as if this new season would potentially get cancelled due to the uncertain times, but we are now into week two and have one of the most unpredictable seasons in store – one that we cannot wait to unfold.

The next event we are mainly looking forward to would be that of the next Golf Major Championship which is played in November at Augusta National Golf Course; one of the finest around. With the US Open just finishing last weekend, we were treated to a divine win by Bryson Dechambeau who defied all of odds to claim the coveted trophy. And also, with Tiger Woods returning this fall to see if he can defend his Green Jacket really promises to be a great tournament – something we will certainly be watching.
The final event that we are extremely excited for and which is scheduled for December is that of the boxing bout between Anthony Joshua and Kubrat Pulev which should be taking place at the 02 in London. Although this fight has had to be pushed back multiple times due to the Coronavirus, it does promise to be a certain blockbuster. If Joshua can defend his heavyweight titles, he’ll be looking at a unification fight with Tyson Fury next summer in an all British bust up.
