Romelu Lukaku is one of the players to come through the ranks at Chelsea. He was part of the academy players to get their chance to play in the first team. However, he was cut from the team after a short stint and sent to play on loan before moving to Everton. The player shined throughout his career in Everton.

He was like a top draft pick regarding college football odds and delivered many times for the Evertonians. After a while with Everton, he caught the eye of Manchester United, and he made a big-money move to Old Trafford. Then, he soon became a sensational player.

However, after spending many seasons with the team, fans and pundits never indeed reached his standards. Then, he fell out of luck with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who felt he wasn’t good enough to lead the attack. In that case, he was sold to Inter Milan, where he became an instant success.

After many years, he helped the Italians win their first Scudetto, taking them back to their glory days. The fans loved Lukaku at Inter because he brought a different flair to the team, but after one season with the team, he returned to England, which proved to be a big mistake for the player and the club.

The Homecoming

After spending many years away from the bridge, Romelu Lukaku was set to come back to Stamford Bridge as the team was looking for a top striker to lead the line. Many people weren’t too convinced about the arrival of the Belgian because his gameplay is different from what the team is used to.

As a result, there was a divide, but since he is a top striker in Europe, many believed he would become a solid buy for the team. In no time, Chelsea broke their transfer record fee to bring the Belgian back to the bridge, and he dropped everything to join his boyhood club. As a result, we were ready to have the player back at the bridge.

Lukaku was welcomed into the team, and we could tell that many believed he would be a solid player for the team. In no time, he made his debut for the team and scored his first Stamford Bridge goal, and it looked like it would be an incredible journey and a fairytale, making the team better. That way, they would have better odds like top teams on the college football lines

How His Season at Chelsea Went

After winning the UEFA Champions League, Chelsea FC was looking for a way to remain competitive. In that case, getting a striker was part of the deal, but since the top targets were not available, and the team was desperate. They had to pay a huge price to bring the striker to the team.

At the start of his season at the club, Lukaku was on fire and scoring goals, but the team had a problem with fluidity. Even though he was getting goals, he wasn’t getting enough service, and after a while, it became evident, and the entire team began to struggle through different games.

Therefore, it became a problem as they were looking for a solution, and none of it worked. Although Lukaku ended the season as the highest goalscorer in all competitions, the player wasn’t working with the team, and many fans knew it would be better to let him go to another team.

The Fallout and Return to Inter

After spending a few months at the bridge and not getting to lead the line as he wanted, Lukaku became grumpy and problematic to the team. To add salt to injury, the player went to grant an unsolicited interview that made him unpopular with the fans, and a series of bad performances didn’t help matters.

The team started to have issues, and many fans blamed Lukaku for the interview. He wasn’t popular among fans, and he fell out with the coach. Towards the end of the season, the player spent most of his time sitting on the bench. His odds of performing dropped like top players who ceased to perform and increase their NCAA football odds

With the player losing favor with the coach and fans, it was evident that he won’t be able to continue at the Bridge, and with the change, the coach had full backing. Therefore, the only rescue for Lukaku is to return to Inter Milan, where he is already loved. He is back in Milan on loan from Chelsea.

Would He Ever Come Back to Stamford Bridge?

Since Lukaku is only on loan to Inter Milan, there is a chance that he would return to the Bridge, but given how he left, it is hard to see how he would be liked by the fanbase again. It will be a hard decision for the player to come back to the Bridge. Therefore, we think we’ve seen the last of Lukaku at the Bridge.
