Who is Callum Hudson-Odoi?

Callum Hudson-Odoi is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Chelsea and England national team.

During his time with Chelsea’s academy, Hudson-Odoi was part of the teams he has won U-18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup titles twice in a row. His form at the youth level was rewarded in January 2018 when he was handed a senior start at Chelsea’s, playing the full 90 minutes, since then he has played over 90 games for the club.

Odoi has been one of the most talented players in England; he became the youngest (aged 18 years and 135 days) to debut in a competitive game for Gareth Southgate’s team, doing so in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.

Upon receiving his maiden call-up, English forward said he was “shocked” and described it as “a dream come true” to play for his national team. He made his debut on 22 March as a 70th-minute substitute in a 5–0 victory at Wembley Stadium.

Chelsea have been given an update on German giants, Bayern Munich’s potential interest of signing Callum Hudson-Odoi, with making numerous bids for the English forward over the last few years.

Reports claimed last month that Bundesliga champions were ready to resurrect a deal for the 20-year-old forward ahead of the 2021/22 season.
