Who is Tammy Abraham? 

Tammy Abraham is a Chelsea FC and England national team centre forward, (born 2 October 1997).

An academy graduate of Premier League giants, Chelsea, Abraham made his senior debut for the West London club in 2016 before spending a loan at Bristol City. There, he enjoyed a successful season which culminated in him receiving Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and top goalscorer awards. A further loan spell at Swansea City followed for Abraham. However, his team ended the season by relegation from the English top-tier. He then joined Aston Villa in 2018 and scored 25 goals in the Championship.

Formerly an England youth international, Abraham represented the England U-18 side and featured at the 2017 UEFA European U-21 Championship, He made his senior debut in November 2017.

Abraham joined Chelsea at the under-eight level and progressed through the club’s academy system in the 2019/20 season he was one of the key players of the West London club, however, last season he lost the place to summer arrival Timo Werner and experienced centre-forward Olivier Giroud.

Premier League outfits Aston Villa and West Ham United are two latest teams to have expressed interest in securing the services of Tammy Abraham, who has been frustrated with his limited first-team minutes under Thomas Tuchel and could be open to depart from Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2021/22 season.

However, as per Football Insider, West Ham have climbed into pole position ahead of Aston Villa in the race for Abraham.

Chelsea have already turned down a bid from Turkish giant Besiktas for the 23-year-old whilst Leicester City and Crystal Palace are also interested in the striker.

Having been valued at £40 million by the Blues, it is believed that slightly less than this will secure his services next campaign with bids within the region of £30-35 million could be enough to seal the deal.
