Arsenal in advanced talks with Chelsea centre-forward Tammy Abraham. The Gunners are willing to pay up England international’s wage demands to join Arsenal. Abraham could leave Stamford Bridge this transfer window with Arsenal now are in pole position to add the centre-forward.

The Gunners might begin proceedings to acquire Tammy from their city rivals. The Gunners might have taken another step in the right direction in their pursuit of the 23-year-old striker.

Arsenal have been chasing the English centre-forward since he was made available for a transfer by the Blues. Mikel Arteta’s side are in the market for a quality centre-forward and have stumbled upon Chelsea striker’s availability.

Tammy is reportedly on £80,000-per-week wages at Stamford Bridge and wants an increase to sign elsewhere. The Gunners have indicated his demands of £125,000-per-week are no problem to them.

Arsenal are hoping to agree on personal terms with the Englishman before moving forward to negotiate the transfer with his club. The Blues have placed Tammy on sale this transfer window after the German coach deemed him surplus to his requirements.

Chelsea are chasing an A-lister centre-forward with Erling Haaland their main target, according to Skysports. A new offer worth £130m is reportedly in the offing as the Stamford Bridge outfit look to bring the 21-year-old striker.

They have already offloaded Olivier Giroud to Milan, according to ACMilan, and are hoping to generate funds from Tammy’s sale. The German manager wants to build on their Champions League triumph and is more or less happy with his current team otherwise.

The Blues are yet to make a single transfer this summer but stay hopeful over deals. Meanwhile, the Gunners were not particularly searching for a centre-forward. However, the opportunity of signing someone like Tammy is considered too good to pass.

The striker offers them something different to current striker options at the Emirates Stadium. However, Arsenal will have to move footballers on to accommodate the Blues striker.

Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are understandably at risk of leaving Arsenal, with both footballers heading into the final year of their deals. While there’s reported interest in Nketiah, it’s Alexandre’s case that the Gunners might find difficult to solve.

Arsenal are seeking £15m for Lacazette. France international was once a coveted centre-forward, but the current financial climate around Europe has failed to generate any reasonable interest in the attacker. The £15m asking price may not be the problem, but his £175,000-per-week wages could be.
