Chelsea forward leans towards Borussia Dortmund move
Borussia Dortmund have reached a total agreement over contract terms with Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to the latest reports.
The 20-year-old star has often operated as a right wing-back since the German manager Thomas Tuchel’s arrival to Stamford Bridge earlier this year and could benefit from gathering regular senior team minutes under his belt with a loan move somewhere else this term.
BVB are considering making a late bid to land the Englishman on a season-long loan, with the transfer market set to shut on August 31.
As reported by Max Bielefeld of Sky Sports, Callum has agreed to personal terms with the Bundesliga giants over a season-long loan at Die Borussen.
Chelsea on verge of snapping up Saul Niguez after intense negotiations
Chelsea’s deal for the La Liga giants Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez has reportedly now reached a ‘very hot’ stage.
The Spaniard has been heavily linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge this summer’s transfer window. As per AS via Sport Witness, the Blues have been in talks over the deal for days and the discussions have reached a hot stage.
The report continues to say that Saul wants to leave Los Rojiblancos this summer as he thinks he has lost importance under head coach Diego Simeone, being used as a wing-back rather than a central midfielder.
It is said that Thomas Tuchel would use Niguez as the fourth choice rotation midfielder if the star moves to Chelsea.
Blackpool will loan Chelsea prodigy Dujon Sterling for 2021/22 season
Dujon Sterling has agreed a fresh contract with Chelsea and is set to sign for Championship side Blackpool on loan for the remainder of the term, football.london reports.
Sterling, who joined the west Londoners at the age of seven, will pen a new two-year deal at the English club that includes the option for a further year.
The ace will then leave on loan for Blackpool, whose manager Neil Critchley is understood to have played a vital role in convincing Sterling to turn down multiple other offers and relocate to Bloomfield Road.
Chelsea first approached the 21-year-old wing-back over a new deal two months ago. At that stage, Dujon had just 12 months remaining on his deal, although it was always the player’s intention to remain with the Blues.
