
Official: Tammy Abraham seals €40m move to Roma from Chelsea
The England international Tammy Abraham has left Chelsea and joined the Serie A giants Roma in a deal worth €40 million, the Italian club have officially announced.
The Giallorossi have replaced the Bosnian centre-forward Edin Dzeko, who moved to Inter Milan, with the 23-year-old star, who signed a contract until June 2026 with La Lupa.
Tammy has left Chelsea after 82 competitive matches, netting 30 goals and grabbing 12 assists in the process, and Jose Mourinho’s side will pay €40 million including bonuses and a percentage of a future sale.

Lyon working on £15m deal to snap up Chelsea defender
The Ligue 1 club Lyon have started discussions with Chelsea about defender Emerson Palmieri, according to a recent report from The Guardian.
It is said that Thomas Tuchel’s side are ready to sell the player this month because of the oversized roster. In addition, he is below both Marcos Alonso and Ben Chilwell in the battle for the left wing-back position at Stamford Bridge.
The report states that Lyon have ended up switching their attention this window to the Italo-Brazilian, who could end up costing around £15m.
Emerson, who won the Euros this summer with Italy, has been with the Blues since the winter of 2018. However, the left-footer has played only 71 senior team games and struggled to force his way into the starting XI.
