Chelsea on the verge of securing services of France defender
Chelsea are reportedly close to completing the signing of Sevilla star Jules Kounde, who will join the west London giants for significantly less than his £90 million exit clause.
The 22-year-old defender arrived in La Liga two seasons ago for a fee of €25 million and he has gone on to shine for them. His showings have seen him recognised at international level by his country.
Jules has been persistently linked with a transfer to the Premier League, and it appears that the Blues have won the race to land the sought-after Frenchman.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 22-year-old star is very close to sealing a move to Stamford Bridge, with the two sides nearing an agreement on an initial sum of just £42.7 million (€50 million) plus add-ons.
Chelsea flop Tiemoue Bakayoko one step away from returning to Italy
AC Milan are reportedly close to being able to officially announce the return of midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea.
Ever since his loan spell with the Rossoneri under then-manager Gennaro Gattuso in the 2018-19 campaign, there has seemingly not been a single transfer market where the Frenchman has not been linked with a return to the San Siro outfit, and now it appears close to becoming a reality.
Speaking on Sky Sport Italia’s Calciomercato – L’Originale, journalist Gianluca di Marzio (via MilanNews) gave an update on the talks for Bakayoko and revealed that the Rossoneri are hoping to close the deal soon with Chelsea for the 26-year-old.
The club will pay a loan fee of €500,000 and there will be an option to buy included as part of the deal set at around €20 million – a much higher fee than what some have been claiming recently.
In-demand Barcelona teenager Ilaix Moriba holds talks with Chelsea
Chelsea are on the verge of securing the signature of talented Barcelona prospect Ilaix Moriba, who wants to quit the Catalan giants this summer.
Multiple clubs are interested in landing Moriba, who is interested in getting the deal over the line before the transfer market slams shut on August 31.
It is widely known that the midfielder wants to leave the La Liga club, with the Blues most likely to bring the ace in.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the 18-year-old Ilaix was seen in England over this weekend in what was, seemingly, a short break to negotiate with Chelsea.
