Chelsea interested in securing services of Ligue 1 prospect Pape Sarr
Chelsea and a few other English heavyweights are allegedly preparing an offer for Metz’s gifted teenager Pape Sarr.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who report the Blues are looking to entice the Senegal international away from his French fortress.
The 18-year-old midfielder came to the forefront of the continent’s attention last campaign, as the ace smashed through into the Metz senior team.
Following one Metz reserves match in October, he was boosted up to the senior set-up, where Pape has remained ever since.
Chelsea could snap up highly-rated Englishman from Bundesliga giants
Chelsea are eyeing Jude Bellingham in spite of their interest in Declan Rice, it has been reported by Eurosport. The Blues has already announced the signing of Romelu Lukaku.
And the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup champions may not be done there, with manager Thomas Tuchel targeting other reinforcements too.
The club recently spent big on the Belgian striker, raiding Inter Milan for the powerful centre-forward in a huge £98 million deal.
That has made him the club’s record signing, with the 28-year-old star’s fee dwarfing the £72 million they’d previously spent on Kepa Arrizabalaga and Kai Havertz.
While the Blues were too strong for Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace in their Premier League opener last weekend, however, they are still hoping to bolster their roster with BVB ace on the radar.
Kenedy leans towards Brazil return as agreement reached with Flamengo
Chelsea and Flamengo have agreed on a summer deal that will see the Brazilian attacker Kenedy return to his homeland on loan for the campaign, with €10 million option to buy, according to the latest reports.
Kenedy has been in discussions with the South American club ‘all summer’ and the Blues are aiming to sell the player as soon as possible.
And now, as per Nizaar Kinsella, Flamengo have agreed on the loan deal with the west Londoners for Kenedy, who spent last term on loan in La Liga with Granada, and have inserted an option to buy.
Chelsea defender yet to make final decision on his long-term future
Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger is still thinking about his future at Stamford Bridge.
Sky Sports reports the Germany international’s current contract expires next summer though the player has confirmed that he has begun discussions with the club over a fresh contract.
He will consider his options before he pens the Stamford Bridge contract extension, with both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid monitoring his current situation.
The 28-year-old star has told head coach Thomas Tuchel that he is fully committed to the club this season.
If he decides his future lies somewhere else however, he’ll be able to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign side in January.
