Out-of-favour Chelsea forward will sign for Jupiler Pro League club
Chelsea‘s Ike Ugbo has made his decision to continue his career at Genk this summer, in spite of late interest from Marseille and is set to seal his move, according to recent report in Belgium.
The 22-year-old Englishman has been heavily linked with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
As per HLN, the Belgian club have beaten Marseille to the landing of the Chelsea forward and a transfer will be completed soon.
The 22-year-old spent last campaign on loan at Cercle Brugge, scoring 16 goals in 32 outings and it has previously been claimed that he has agreed to terms with Blauw-Wit ahead of a move.
Long-term Chelsea target disagree with West Ham on summer transfer
Declan Rice is not happy with West Ham for depriving him of a transfer away from the club owing to their £100m valuation of the star, according to reports.
The 22-year-old was strongly linked with various Premier League clubs this summer, with previous reports stating that Chelsea had shortlisted their former academy player as one of their main transfer targets.
It was further stated that Rice had rejected a host of contract renewal offers in east London amid interest from multiple sides, though it was suggested that he wouldn’t hand in a transfer request owing to the respect Rice has for the Hammers.
According to The Telegraph, Declan is unhappy with the Irons’ board for effectively ruling out a summer move for him, with the club having set an asking price of £100m for their prized asset.
Chelsea locked in talks to secure services of young French defender
Chelsea are in direct contact with the La Liga side Sevilla as they aim to finalise the transfer of defender Jules Kounde, reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano reports.
He is obviously the prime target for the Blues, and the club recently failed with a part-exchange offer involving Kurt Zouma.
It is now reported that Chelsea are in direct talks with the Spaniards. A fresh bid could come soon as Sevilla won’t sell Jules close to the deadline.
The agreement may still depend on the departure of Jules’ compatriot Kurt Zouma. The Blues man continues to remain on the radar of London rivals West Ham United.
