Thomas Tuchel’s side are actively looking to sell 23-year-old forward this summer, however, demanding £40 million transfer fee for his signature.

Premier League teams, Aston Villa and West Ham United, both registered their interest, with Abraham believed to be open to a move to either club in order to play regular first-team football.

However, reports last week suggested that Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal have also entered the race to secure the services of England international forward, who is a boyhood Gunners fan and his football idol has been Thierry Henry.

The West London giants are keen to offload 23-year-old forward in order to help bring a new offensive threat to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Erling Haaland is the first-choice transfer target for the Blues owner Roman Abramovich, however, Borussia Dortmund are adamant that the 21-year-old hotshot will remain with them for at least one more season despite strong interest from top European teams.

Speaking to Bild earlier this month, Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc said of Haaland: ‘Nothing has changed.

‘We are still planning with Erling for the new season.’

Chelsea also keeping close tabs on Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku who has enjoyed a stunning 2020/21 season scoring 24 Serie A goals leading the club to be claimed as the Italian champions.
