
Premier League giants, Chelsea are willing to allow their forward Tammy Abraham to join direct rivals Arsenal on an initial loan deal, according to reports.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are actively looking to sell 23-year-old forward this summer, however, demanding £40 million transfer fee for his signature.
Premier League teams, Aston Villa and West Ham United, both registered their interest, with Abraham believed to be open to a move to either club in order to play regular first-team football.
However, reports last week suggested that Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal have also entered the race to secure the services of England international forward, who is a boyhood Gunners fan and his football idol has been Thierry Henry.
Chelsea slapped £40m price tag could prove tricky for the Gunners, who need to trim their team even further to accommodate more big-money additions.
And according to The Sun, the Blues hierarchy have now agreed to let English striker depart from Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan deal ahead of the next campaign. however, will include a £40m obligation to buy clause if the striker reaches a certain number of first-team appearances.
