Premier League giants Chelsea are willing to make Romelu Lukaku the highest-paid player in history to entice him away from Serie A giants, Inter Milan this summer.
The Belgian is happy at Inter Milan and had planned on remaining in the Italian top-tier for at least another campaign, having attracted attention from PL giants Man City.
However, Inter’s financial situation means they could be a force to sell Belgian forward this summer to raise funds, and they know they could fetch around £100m by selling former Man Utd star.
Inter Milan would rather sell off another of their key players, such as Argentina striker Lautaro Martinez who has been recently rumoured with a switch to Arsenal.
The West London club have already seen two bids turned down for Romelu Lukaku by Inter. However, the Telegraph claim they’re willing to offer a huge financial package to convince Belgian forward to make a return to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer Inter Milan forward a basic salary of around £250,000-a-week, which would put him ahead of the likes of N’Golo Kante and Kai Havertz at Stamford Bridge.
While Lukaku is happy in the Italian top-tier, he’s made provisional arrangements over returning to the UK by looking at houses in London should a move to the Blues materialise.
The move would see Lukaku making a return to Chelsea seven years after he was transferred to Premier League rivals, Everton.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are set to allow Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi to make a move to Turkish outfits, Trabzonspor, according to the Turkish media outlet Milliyet reports.
Batshuayi has arrived at Chelsea in 2016 from Ligue 1 giants, Marseille, for a reported €40m fee. He has won the Premier League trophy in his debut campaign in England, founding back of the net that sealed the trophy in a 1-0 victory away at West Bromwich Albion.
Now his time with Chelsea set to came to the end, with Turkish source Milliyet reporting that Trabzonspor are on the verge to get the deal done.
