Chelsea fans have plenty to get excited about this season. The Blues are coming off a relatively successful campaign under Frank Lampard and have already started the current Premier League campaign in good steed.

However, what would have excited fans the most is the transfer business the club managed to conduct throughout the transfer window so far, and there are signs that they have not quite finished their business just yet.

Gamers who enjoy playing with Chelsea and enjoy esport betting on the FIFA franchise might just be relishing what the Blues can provide them with this season as well.

The Stamford Bridge outfit have five players to be ranked in the top 100 footballers in the latest instalment of the FIFA franchise, with four of those five being new signings – thus showing Lampard and Chelsea mean business this season!

N’Golo Kante – 88 Overall

A familiar face to Chelsea fans and avid watchers of the Premier League, N’Golo Kante is rated as the best Blue this season for Lampard’s side and one that will likely prove crucial in whatever the club manages to achieve in the 2020/21 campaign.

Kai Havertz – 85 Overall

Perhaps one of the most anticipated signings of the summer, Kai Havertz closely follows Kante in the ratings, as he is handed an overall rating of 85. The Germany international is one of the most exciting playmakers to have come out of the game in recent times and there will be excitement amongst the fanbase as to what he can achieve with the Blues in the future.

Timo Werner – 85 Overall

Another German and another player to create a real buzz around Stamford Bridge following his arrival, Timo Werner is the next man on the FIFA 21 list of top 100 players. The striker, who will be tasked with bringing his goalscoring touch whilst at Red Bull Leipzig to Chelsea, is handed the same 85 rating as his Germany international colleague and will want to prove that he can play in England’s top league just as effectively as he managed in the Bundesliga.

Hakim Ziyech – 85 Overall

Equally an attractive signing for Chelsea this summer, Hakim Ziyech was one of the first captures for Lampard’s side and one that could potentially solve the void that was left by Eden Hazard when he departed for Real Madrid last summer. The Morocco international is thought to be on a similar standing to Werner and Havertz, as he is also handed an overall 85 rating.

Thiago Silva – 85 Overall

Chelsea may have spent out over £150m on the three aforementioned new additions, however their free acquisition of Thiago Silva might just go done as one of the best pieces of business by the club. The Brazilian could immediately bolster the defence and prove to be the key component in ensuring fewer goals are conceded – something that could prove extremely valuable towards the end of the 2020/21 campaign. FIFA 21 players will be pleased to know that he is rated at 88 overall.
