
Fulham Double Deal
Two players who could be leaving Chelsea this summer – Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon are set to make their loan spells at Fulham into permanent ones. Following Fulham’s promotion back to the Premier League, they are set to keep Kalas and Piazon on full-time deals. Kalas and Piazozn have been on loan at Fulham since 2016, and are set to extend their time at Craven Cottage now that they’re in the top flight. It is understood that the fee for both players will be aroud £8 million.
Sarri Price Drop
Chelsea’s managerial search continues, with new reports claiming that Napoli are set to decrease their asking price to release Maurizio Sarri from his contract to £4.5 million. The Italian had an £8 millio release clause in his contract, which the Blues opted not to pay. With Carlo Ancelotti replacing Sarri as Napoli manager, the Serie A side are keen to get him off their books, and are willing to accept a smaller fee from the club. Sarri would be keen on bring Raul Albiol to the club with him, and Chelsea could make it a double deal in the coming days. If a move for Sarri falls through, Laurent Blanc is the club’s plan B.
Savic Targeted
Despite managerial uncertainty, Chelsea are pressing on with potential transfer targets. Reports have claimed that the club are interested in signing Atletico Madrid defender Stefan Savic. Since joining the Spanish side, he’s become one of their most formidable defenders and has attracted the Blues’ interest. Italian side Juventus are also keen on the Montengrin international, who has experience playing in Italy with Fiorentina. He also has experience in the Premier League, having played at Manchester City earlier in his career. Chelsea have been linked with a number players this summer, and are continuing to look to strengthen the squad.
