Lewandowski Main Target

Chelsea have reportedly made Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski their number one target this summer. The Blues are keen to find a replacement for Alvaro Morata, who could be set for a return to Juventus. Polish striker Lewandowski is high on the club’s wishlist, and they could make a club-record move for him in the summer. It is expected that any move for the 29-year-old could cost in the excess of £100 million, but Chelsea could make a move for the Pole. It is currently unclear whether Lewandowski is keen to leave the German champions this summer, and if a move to Stamford Bridge is even on the cards.

Willian Wants Out

Willian will look to leave Chelsea this summer, if Antonio Conte remains manager of the club, reports have claimed. The pair have a strained releationship, and the Brazilian made this abundantly clear through an Instagram post in which he blocked out the Italian. Manchester United are said to be keen on the 29-year-old, and Willian has spoken of his fondness for his former coach, Jose Mourinho. The Brazilian has two years left on his current deal, and would command a hefty fee should Chelsea decide to let the winger leave this summer. The Blues have sold to Manchester United in the past, with Nemanja Matic leaving for Old Trafford last summer.

Roman’s Visa Problems

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has experienced delays in renewing his UK visa. The Russian has owned the club since 2003, and was not in attendance at Saturday’s FA Cup final win over Manchester United. However, a source close to Abramovich has claimed he is in the process of a renewal, but it is taking slightly longer than usual. His visa expired over three weeks ago, amid political tensions between the United Kingdom and Russia.

When asked about the case, Security Minister Ben Wallace said:

“We do not routinely comment on individual cases.”
